Vernonia lake 2/6

Took the girlfriend out to try and get her into some panfish. The lake was very clear and it was a beautiful day. Fished all around the lake and didnt see a single panfish or bass. There were alot of steelhead up shallow. Got a steelhead about 18" on a mini foo jig just before we went home.

Thanks for the report. There is a little trough that most of the bass hang-out in the winter (what few are still in there). They might still be in there until the days get just a little longer or the water warms up a bit. I don't know about the crappie and buegills.
