I was wondering if there's been any Springer action in the Bay yet.

There has been only 2 confirmed springers caught. However, both fish were caught along the North Jetty in the area that is closed at this time. Both people were nailed at the dock when they came in! You can count on having a decent chance at a springer around the 10th of May. This is not a red hot fishery and if you get a fish or two you've had an excellent day! But don't expect to come down and knock 'em dead, it just dosen't happen.

I have heard of a few springers last week caught on the trask river a few miles above the 101 bridge. Their has to be fish in the bay above the deadline at this time.
