I have never done much crappie fishing, but would like to give it a try. Any info on places to fish near Clackamas and best way to fish for them would be usefull. Thanks.

You best shot at some good crappie fishing is at Silver Lake Washington. My best day is 800 in one day. The crappie start hitting at silver near March 15th off the dock at the motel and at night, under the lights. You can find them is streeters canal around easter (they are not all that big in the spring, the fall is much better!). Mid Oct is a good time to start crappie fishing at Silver!
