fished from oxbow to Dadney on Saturday. No fish for us. We did see two chrome hatchery steelhead taken at the oxbow ramp. We talked to a fly fisherman that said he had seen a couple of steelhead. Anything happening down by the mouth? The Columbia should be plenty high to pull some fish in there.

I undertand that there are indeed a good number of fish being caught near the mouth. Jack Glass got his guests into 4 fish on Sunday I believe.

I fished there Monday evening and there were 21 boats and I did not see a fish caught.

One large summer steelhead caught at the Oxbow boat ramp yesterday afternoon. Nothing happening at Oxbow today. Only talked to one Utah couple who floated Oxbow to Dabney, their first trip on the Sandy, today. They didn,t have any luck but "loved" the river and will be floating it again tomorrow after camping overnite at Oxbow.
