In case anyone's interested....
Called down to a friend in Gold Beach this morning. The river peaked at around 4am at Agness (25 mi upriver) at 5ft. below floodstage. It is dropping rapidly. The USGS river forecast shows it dropping rapidly over the next 2 days, should be fishable by Friday, probably this afternoon/tomorrow morning from the bank by plunkers. There were a lot of fish moving through the shallow water along the shoreline yesterday, before the last surge of high water hit.
It's a long drive down there, but that also keeps the people away. I'll be there!
Good luck to everyone!
