Looking for some info on crappie fishing at Sliver Lake. I know it's too cold now, but looking at picking some vacation time from work to go up there and give it a try. Thanks for any help you can give.

You may be in error about it being too cold according to this website anyway:
Silver Lake - January 5
Bob J., Bill E., and Tom N. decided to start the 2006 season with trip to Silver Lake, WA on a day the weatherman said was to be mostly dry. The "dry" part was about 15 minutes but the weather was mild so it was a good day due anyway. The three of them caught and released over 200 crappie and perch and one lone bluegill.
