Cowlitz update

Fished the Cowlitz upstream of the Toutle today with my Dad, 8:00 A.M. til about 12:30. There were about 15 boats working that stretch of the river. No hits and didn't see any fish caught at all. Tried cut plug herring, plugs and eggs with a spin n glow.

When are the peak seasons on the Cowlitz for springers? And also summers? Thanks

If we get any...springers should be sometime between now and 3 weeks from now. Summer run peak is August though I begin catching fish at the mouth around mid June.

I fished the mouth of the Toutle Sunday. Didn't see a fish hooked anywhere. There was a hog line that was tough to troll through right above the Toutle so we couldn't get down to the lower hole....
