If yesterday was slow, than today was DOG ASS SLOW! I've never, ever seen a slower day this time of year. I could understand if this was mid March but April? 1000 boats and only a couple of fish. We got so board we tried the Clack (along with a bunch of board Guides) and nothing! This is a crapy way to finish the season. I'm just ranting now so I guess I will see all 1000 of you on May 1st!

JK- I know the frustration! Been good most days up there, but the 2 times I fished O.C. it was like watching grass grow. When I went elsewhere we caught fish (lower on the river & up the Gorge). Usually it's the other way around and I do fine at O.C. It's kinda like golf though- the good days keep ya comin' back. Someone post a good day O.C. story now that it's closed.- Hey JK, since you're at the height of frustration I'll make an offer for your Predator on the For Sale page. - Steve

You are correct fishing was extremely slow on Saturday. I have never seen so many boats at Oregon City. The hog line at Mcdonalds nearly blocked the entire river. On a different note there were several fish caught below the falls. I watched the seals pulverize the fish. I saw at least 10 fish ripped by the seals.
