The last two trips I have done on the Deschutes were killers on my knees but I was using my Berkly waders.
Do you think Neoprene waders would be less drag and easier on my frail Body ?

Doubtful. I think your knees would still hurt and you would just be uncomfortable. Have you tried knee supports?
You'll never go wrong with a good pair of breathables Tony!
Forget about the cheap ones you can get at some places and spend the money for a good pair.
Neoprenes sweat too much and you really don't get that much padding in the knees.
I suggest wearing some kind of knee pad if it bothers you that much and forget the neo's

Tony, it might be better for you to get neo's.
that way if you fall in because of bad knees you'll float better
Having bad knees is a drag and I know too well of which you speak. I switched to Simms breathables with fleece pants for the cold and shorts with neoprene knee support in the summer. My brace fits well in the breathables and is way too confining in neoprenes. The key is keeping your knee warm with added support and a wading cane .

Beside my knees my brain isn't always doing that well either.
The Breathables I have aren't Berkly's the are Baileys.
The last two times I was on the Deschutes it kicked my Arse. The Breathables seem like they have a lot more Drag.
Not long ago I used nothing but Cuttoffs and Tennis shoes.
Twenty years isn't that long ago is it ? :jester:
