Hello, just found this site. I am 57 years old and live at Lakeside Oregon on beautiful Ten Mile Lakes. Hope to have some good discussions about Bass fishing. I can also give fishing reports. I also fish Eel, Taukenitch, and Siltcoos.

Bassin Fever,

Welcome to ifish.

I don't usually spend much time in this area of ifish, but I do like to bass fish once in a while.

I am am a year younger than you and live in the Alsea area. Hope you don't mind, sent you a PM asking for a fishing report.

Thanks,
SpinnerMan

Welcome Bassin Fever!

I'm older than you, retired, and live in Eugene. Fished those lakes a lot in tournaments in the 90's. Have a smaller boat now and just fish and picnic on the water.

I havn`t fished a tournament for about 20 years, but I used to fish all the Western Bass and state tournaments in the late seventies and early eighties. I may have to come out of retirement this year and show these young bucks a thing or two.

Howdy BF. A bunch of friendly, sharing folks here.
Have you tried circle hooks? No "bubba" set required; just a s-l-o-w, steady tug will lodge the hook in the corner of the mouth and the design prevents gut-hooks.
