Just wondering, and dont ask me why. Senkos look and act alot like the candy: gummi worms. They should make gummie worms with bait scent rather than fruit scent.

I'd be willing to bet that at least half the smallies on the Umpqua would fall for that! Just dangle one right under the boat.

Yes and then if you strike out you can always eat your bait! Great idea!

I've caught spots in Shasta Lake, down in CA, on em when the bite was hot. Rigged em wacky and just let em sink till they ran with em

talk about cheap bait too! On your way out of Wilco you can grab a bag for .99c....... take em home and warm them a little and add some salt!

So have you ever tryed to catch a bass on a bare hook (no lure at all)? Its not that hard. Fish do not have hands to check something out the take it in and if they do not like it they blow it out. It's much easier on crappie, perch, blue gill and trout! I just have to much time on my hands  .

What is the biggest bass you landed on a crappie jig?
I got one just over 5 pounds, but I have had bass over 6 & 7 pounds on (hook bends out). Big Bass SMALL LURE :smash:  :yay:!!!!!!

Haha, yeah... not a crappie jig but a hook the size of one with a tip of worm mostly eaten.
