2005 is now in the books. Not as many fish as 2004, but I had the pleasure of meeting and fishing with several Ifish fly fishermen. There were also several Ifish fly fishermen I tried to fish with, but our schedules/water conditions didn’t cooperate.
I’m looking forward to 2006. Hopefully there will be more fish and more opportunities to fish with fly fishermen from Ifish.
Happy New Year!

I dedicated this year to steelhead more than trout/bulls. Although I missed them, I finally got into more steelhead. I also finally got a fish on the EFL. This river has been a challenge for me. I usually hook a few a year but never land them. The Ronde, Rogue and SWW rivers were a lot of fun this year. Alaska and Montana were fun too.
I only got to fish with a few IFishers. PTS and Silverfly thanks for the tips. MGamby, we will get you a steelie yet.

Yup, it was a good year for fishing (not necessarily catching). Fished with AndyK a few times and finally got Lilnorthfork into a good stillwater steelhead. Also got to meet some new ifishers including you (SteelieMike), PTS, SteveL, and Frankenfish. I'm still working on turning my buddy Musicman into a more serious fly fisherman, but he keeps buying so much gear-chucking stuff that he'll soon rival Giz's legendary collection (so I've heard anyway).
My apologies if I forgot anybody (my memory's not what it used to be). Looking forward to fishing with any of you guy's again and hopefully some new ifishers.

It's been a great year. Several new friendships and lots of fishing with Andy K. I am his official photographer. He does all the catching and I do a lot of the picture taking. Not many fish this year but lots of fun and I got to meet several Ifishers too. I'm looking forward to 2006.
When I think back to 2005, all I can really focus on is the passing of the two fishing partners that I fished with more than anyone else, Chuck (Stillwater on Westfly) and Ben (Big Ben on Westfly). They will forever be in my memories as I return to the waters in 2006 that we fished so much.
I appreciate all the ifishers that I met this year and look forward to the future fishing together.
