Nikon 7209 10x25 Premier LX

Nikon has set a new standard in pocket binocular performance notable for anglers and hunters who appreciate the finer details of their sport. The new 8x20 and 10x25 Premier LX compacts deliver legendary Nikon optical performance in a package that not only is useable on any outdoor event, but that can also fit into the budget plans of any serious enthusiast!
Measuring a scant 4.3" x 3.8" (8x20) and 4.3" x 4.4" (10x25), the two mini binoculars tip the scales at just about 10 ounces each, making them as portable as anything on the planet when it comes to high performance optics.

The Nikon Premier LX can be easily used and focused with one hand.
Finally! I can see!
I have been on the hunt for binoculars that would enable me to bird watch clearly, both close up, and at a distance. I also wanted to use these binoculars out on the water.
I found the perfect pair!
Like most homes, Bill and I had assorted older binoculars laying around the house. One from my Grandfather, and a couple from his relatives. Binoculars don't usually wear out, so they are often passed on, from generation to generation. We had three pairs. Why buy new?
I'll tell you why!
Once you experience the newer technology of the Nikon line of binoculars, you will understand!
After receiving my Nikon Premier LX optics, I was sitting at the outdoor table in pure amazement, watching things I had never seen before. Focusing as close up as 10 feet away, I could make out intricate feather patterns on my American Goldfinch that I had never seen before!
My son, David, was giggling at the "oohs" and "ahs" that escaped me. I handed them to him. Oh, yea of youth! You doubt!
David has used binoculars, and had never been that impressed.
I noted by his silence that he was taken.
He focused up into the trees on the hillsides that surround our canyon. After several minutes of silence, he exclaimed, "Mom! I can see a bug in that Douglas Fir tree!"
I begged them back, so I could see for myself. It's true! I could see bugs, crawling on the trunks of the trees!
We spent the day seeing things we had never witnessed before.
I find that with these very light binoculars, weighing in at just about 10 ounces, I can hold the binoculars steady, and focus with just one hand.

Nikon 7209 10x25 Premier LX

I've taken these binoculars nearly everywhere I go.
They have joined me for many outings on Tillamook Bay. When I see boats hammering fish at a distance, I can manage my rod with one hand, and report to Bill what is happening. I can hold, and focus the Premier LX with one hand, and scream, "Bill! Get out the chartreuse spinners!"
I often left the old binoculars at home, or even if in the boat, they were left alone. They were heavy, and cumbersome, and not worth the effort of putting my rod down, and missing fishing time.
These Nikons are so small that I can fit them easily into a tackle bag, or even my purse, and have them ready for instant viewing!
I take them along for my weekly jaunt to Astoria, and often stop along Neahkahnie Mountain to search for whales, during their migration.

To maximize ruggedness, Nikon built each of the LX compacts on a tough, lightweight magnesium alloy chassis--rubber armored for shockproof integrity--and then purged it of all moisture with bone-dry nitrogen for total waterproof and fogproof performance. The little LX also features the convenience of smooth central focusing, a central diopter control and slide and lock eyecups that retract for use with eyeglasses.

From travel to home use, my Nikon Premier LX binoculars are seldom further than an arms reach away. My new constant companion. My new vision!
...and believe me, when I pass these on to my descendants, they will be pleased!

When you purchase your new Nikon optics, make sure to get one of these handy Lens Pens.
The Nikon Lens Pen is a revolutionary new lens cleaning system for scopes, binoculars, camera lenses, camcorders and digital cameras.
On one end is a retractable brush to remove dust particles. The other, a unique, flexible cleaning pad.
I use mine constantly, to clean not only the binocular lenses, but the lenses of my Nikon Coolpix digital camera, also.
In the past, I was constantly struggling for what to use to keep my lenses clean.
Now, I just clip this handy pen on the case of my binoculars, so it's always handy. They are inexpensive enough to have one for every piece of equipment. I'm going to buy one for my camera, too!
Watch for Ready Set Contests on the discussion forum, that include the Lens Pen. I will be sharing some with the readers there!

...and talk about clarity! Is the world really this beautiful?
I can capture the wings of a hummingbird, really study their eyes, their color patterns, their feathers!

High-grade prisms used in the LX get two types of coating--a silver coating to boost light transmission, and a special phase correction coating for sharpness and clarity.
Together, the mini LX optical system provides extremely bright, tremendously sharp images, huge fields of view (356 feet @ 1,000 yds. with the 8-power and 282 feet @ 1,000 yds. with the 10-power), lengthy eye relief (15mm for both models) and close-focus distances that are unheard of among the world's high-end compacts--7.8-feet with the 8x20 and 10.4-feet with the 10x25.
As part of the Nikon Premier binoculars line, the LX minis are built using the very finest optical components to assure exceptional handling and peak optical performance. Nikon's exclusive Eco Glass™, made without the use of lead or arsenic, is used throughout the optical system.
Lenses are carefully ground and polished, then coated with multiple layers of proprietary anti-reflective compounds for incredibly bright images, even in twilight or other poor light conditions.
