I was a very avid angler early in my life, starting around 11 years of age. Over the years, not much has changed except the man I look at in the mirror.
I have over 20 years experience guiding on a full time basis in the Great Pacific Northwest, fishing the Portland area rivers to the Mighty Columbia and the coastal rivers and Bays. I fish from either a 22 foot jet sled or a 17 foot drift boat, which ever is appropriate for the body of water we are fishing. Oregon has so much to offer those who love to fish! Salmon, Steelhead, and Sturgeon live here in abundance!!!

SPRING CHINOOK AND SUMMER STEELHEAD April and May, I'm fishing the Willamette and Clackamas Rivers. These Oregon Rivers offer some of the best fishing in the state. With my Experience and know how, we will be where the fish are with the right equipment. Spring Chinook can run 10 to 40 pounds or more, while summer steelhead will run 8 to 20 pounds and are full of fight. These fish are some of the best eating fish you'll find anywhere.

Fall Chinook August and September. We will be in the lower Columbia River, by Astoria. This is the most productive salmon fishery in the state, running 10 to 50 pounds. Limits are very common here!!! Sept., Oct., and Nov., Tillamook Bay offers great Chinook fishing with the average size 25 to 40 pounds and the chance to catch that 50 plus trophy Chinook. Using light tackle will give you the thrill of a life time!!!
